MODERN WATCH was started by a watch collector fascinated by the creativeness of  post war designers,  to enable other collectors to  buy and sell collector watches online.  MODERN WATCH is a specialist of “Modern”collector watches, in other words watches produced mainly from the 50’s onwards.

The emphasis is on watches which innovated by their design or unusual features. This means that I hold in particular high esteem watches with electric or electronic movements, such as LED watches for instance, unlike many collectors. I certainly do not dislike mechanical watches, quite the contrary, I also feature many interesting pieces of the fifties and sixties.  The common points are  design, novelty and quality.
